This is my fabulous friend and awesome brother in law, Mike with his son, Colter and his daughter, Shelby. Mike has stage 4 bone cancer. He has had a terrible time of it lately. He has a moss like growth around his lower spine and has not been able to stand, walk or sit for any length of time. He just had a week of solid radiation (2 times a day) on the mass on his spine. Now, the doctors think they have seen something on his upper spine at the base of his neck. He just had a cat scan on Friday and is waiting for news. He is having a very difficult time walking, he cannot sit for any length of time, and he is in excruciating pain just holding his neck up. Through all of this, he remains so very, very positive and cheerful. He is a steadfast believer in his own recovery. We went to mass this morning and a small group prayed over him and touched him. Right now, he needs all of the prayers and good thoughts/energy that he can get. I am not asking for myself, but for him and his children. They are so scared. Sometimes even distancing themselves from him because they unknowingly can't bear to see him in such agony or face losing him. Please, please pray ... pray... pray...for him.
