My Words

Some of the most profound words on the nature of fear were spoken by Nelson Mandela, "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

We all get scared, but the people who really accomplish things have learned to recognize their fears and continue on with their lives. Sometimes we have to pretend we have courage in order to get through difficult times. "Make believe you're brave, and the trick will take you far. You may be as brave as you make believe you are."

Using your fears as stepping stones and don't be afraid to let your light shin brilliantly as you liberate your own true self from the darkness of fear and self doubting.

These are my words to live by. These are my words to follow. These are my words to guide me through tomorrow.
